In Uganda

Last week the security situation deteriorated in the Kakwa County. In and around Adi shootings happened. Monday in Adi itself, Tuesday about five kilometers away and Thursday in two places. At 7am we heard lots of fire coming from Ingbokolo in the west and a bit later from Sigoli which is east of Adi. I didn’t like being caught in the middle. I left on Friday, and this decision to leave was confirmed by the church leadership, and reached Arua in Uganda the same afternoon. I am chilling and working from here now. I plan to go to Kampala on Saturday with some other AIM missionaries and decide there about what to do. I can probably return even now as calm has returned, but I need to do a couple of things in Kampala. And as my visa is for a month, I will take my time. As my internet connection here in Arua, although faster than in Adi, is still pretty slow, I will send a bigger post next week from Kampala.
